Indus Training and Research Institute Secures IBEC Recognition for Its PGDE-I and M.A.Ed. – RPL Route Programmes

We at Indus Training and Research Institute (ITARI) are delighted to announce that we are the first in Asia to have our flagship teacher education programmes—the Postgraduate Diploma in Education-International (PGDE-I) and the Master of Arts in Education (M.A.Ed.) – RPL Route, offered by Birmingham City University (BCU), UK—officially recognised by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). All aspiring, pre-service and in-service teachers—hereafter referred to as learners—who complete these programmes will also earn the International Baccalaureate Educator Certificate (IBEC).
This means that every learner enrolling in any of these programmes through ITARI, commencing on 1 September each year, will now graduate with:
• A UK-accredited qualification from Birmingham City University, and
• The International Baccalaureate Educator Certificate in PYP, MYP, DP, and CP, recognised globally by the IBO.
