      Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching with Digital Technologies – (CICTDT)

      The Certificate is designed to prepare teachers to use digital technologies effectively and appropriately in supporting students’ learning. The qualifications encourage teachers to reflect critically on your own and colleagues’ teaching, and to experiment with new techniques to use technologies impactfully. Ultimately, you will improve your own practice, so that all your students learn more effectively.

      Highlights of the course

      You will:

      • Engage with the principles and concepts of using digital technologies to improve your effectiveness as teachers and your students’ learning
      • Gain the knowledge, skills and understanding of how digital technologies can support an inclusive approach to teaching and learning
      • Use opportunities to try something new in your classroom practice
      • Engage with colleagues to improve professional knowledge and practice
      • Develop a reflective approach to the development of your professional practice.
      • Progress your teaching career.

      You need to:

      • Be a full- or part-time teacher or a trainer employed in an educational institution such as a school, college, university, or adult training centre.
      • Be responsible for planning, teaching and formatively assessing groups of learners.
      • Teach in your current organisation for a full academic year, or for a minimum of 24 weeks, and a minimum of six hours per week.
      • Have the regular support of a mentor who understands the essential principles that underpin this qualification, and can provide helpful advice and observations based on your.
      • Teach a group with a minimum of six learners.
      • Blended sessions: the module is covered through 120 hours of classroom-based sessions.
      • Personalised mentoring: expert mentoring support during and after the completion of the course.
      • Support materials: all candidate receive the required study and support materials for the course. The candidates will have access to ITARI library for reference work.
